Any rumours of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. Omerta Syndicate is currently re-organizing and will be resuming operations shortly. We are no longer associated with the Caldari Militia and we also have a fresh killboard to mark a new start.

Omerta Syndicate has gone through a growth spurt and has doubled in size the past month. We'd like to welcome all our new members to the family. Remember, once you're in the family...

Recruitment is still open, but now once again restricted to those with more than 15 million skill points unless you have a referral. Check "Join the Syndicate" for details, and be sure to visit our forums. For now, capital pilots, North American timezone players, and those interested in participating in booster industry will be given the most consideration.

11/04/109 - Updates and E-ON

Omerta Syndicate has won a nomination for best corp/alliance website of 2006 in E-ON! Thank you to everyone who voted, and be sure to do so again in the second round of voting. I hope the background music isn't as annoying as the E-ON editors seemed to think, though...

We've been busy lately and haven't gotten around to the Neocom Journals, but they will be starting again at regular intervals within the next couple days.

In other news, the Syndicate has been solidifying its position in Delve and is getting ready for the next stage in our corporation's evolution. More details are yet to come, but we're rather excited about it. Also, Korthan has a new character picture rotating on the opening page.

An excellent artist by the name of Anders Bierberg Hald has done some great paintings depicting various Omerta Syndicate characters. There are currently three paintings and there may be more in the future. A new image will show on the front page each time you reopen your browser (Firefox) or refresh (IE).

It's been a long time since our news page got an update, but we've never gone away. Currently the Syndicate is operating in the Curse region with Exuro Mortis. I have stepped down as press secretary. Shintoko Akahoshi will be filling general PR duties from now on, while I keep a close eye on Blood Raider, Sansha, and Guristas happenings in the South. Nooey has also been promoted to director status.

28/04/108 - New Engagement Policy

As of 19:30, Omerta Syndicate is swapping to a NBSI policy in 0.0. There are many reasons for this, one of them being that our -10 list is growing too large to accommodate our previous neutral-friendly policy. Our low-sec engagement rules still apply and we will not participate in the pirating of neutrals in low-sec space.

02/04/108 - Ushra'Khan War Comes to an End

Recently the Omerta Syndicate CEO and his directorship held a discussion on the tactics being used against Ushra'Khan to acquire the perpetrators of the infamous Palermo bombing. It was determined (using information gathered through various clandestine sources) that unless the Omerta Syndicate drops the war declaration against the U'K, the accused would never come out of hiding. While we are happy to report that the Syndicate has inflicted over 2 billion ISK of damage on the Ushra'Khan paramilitary, we must initiate the next step in our search. Today, the Omerta Syndicate will let the CONCORD war contract run its course.
